Statement
My art comes from a desire to express latent realities. Painting is
exciting in that one can convert the non-visual elements of these
realities into pictorial form. These encodings in emblematic space form
layers of inter-related patterns over the visual elements in post-Cubist
overlap, hieroglyph, transparency, figure-field play-off, rhythmic
disclosure, repitition, replacement and entanglement, all burrowing
into the recesses of human culture.
